Ventures : E-Finance, Strategy making approaches, Venture management methods. |

Our
intermediate objectives are primarily focusing on Electronic banking. The |
|
Electronic banking requires a more integrated perspective of IT and
Strategy. New IT tools are rapidly emerging but they are not designed
to maximize the success of E-banking. Financial institutions want to design
efficient Business Models, looking enhance their Corporate sites. Our objective is to
research the E-Banking industry and identify better business models integrating
IT and financial Strategy issues. |

Partnering
with a network of academic and industry collaborators sharing the same
perspective and making complementary contributions Models: A coherent and
well-integrated body of techniques and methods, founded on a strong movement
for change, ready to be diffused, and built around some monograph and/or
textbook, Within the medium term
(3-6 years), these assets should be used to create new educational programs,
and especially to create self-sustaining research centers able to attract and
support a greater number of graduate students. In addition, such a
resource buildup should help to commercialize research results, hoping to
create information portals, intelligence gathering systems, and
decision-making tools on which industry practitioners could depend. |

Mr.
Khaled ELHAGE specializes in E-Business Technology and Innovation
Strategy. |
|
Since
1998, Mr. ELHAGE has developed original courses, which he delivered to 14
groups, for a total of 310 students. He teaches business administration to
managers through intensive training programs and short seminars. He
regularly teaches participating in short seminars, delivering courses in 3
languages (English, French, Arabic). |

Over the
past 7 years, Mr. ELHAGE has led a dozen assignments, primarily with
companies. He regularly helps development teams to build business cases
and craft successful strategies. His advice is also solicited on
development methodologies and on formulating new venture proposals and
project evaluation |

Although
he specializes primarily in Economics and Finance, Mr. ELHAGE has always kept
a foot in IT, seeking to learn how to integrate management and technology. First,
from 1985-2002, Mr. ELHAGE has developed 8 database systems, mostly for small
financial institutions, as well as for several government agencies and major
international organizations. Since 1995, Mr. ELHAGE has concentrated his IT
on E-Finance. |

Khaled ELHAGE est un consultant en administration. Il a rejoint l’Université du Québec pour faire le programme
de Doctorat en Administration, après avoir obtenu sa maîtrise de l’Université de Paris. À l’Institut des Sciences
Politiques de Paris, il a étudié la Stratégie d’Entreprise
. En 1984, il a obtenu son B.A. en économie de l’American
University of Paris. Avant de se joindre à l’UQAM, il a travaillé dans des firmes de conseil en
gestion comme consultant auprès d’organismes et d’entreprises diverses en
France et à l’étranger. Durant ces 17 ans, il a participé au développement de
plusieurs projets lancés par les grandes organisations internationales :
Programmes de la communauté européenne, le programme Fédéral des États Unis
S.B.A., et la Banque européenne de développement. La nature de ces missions à
l’étranger était pour l’étude des investissements et l’évaluation du risque
des projets. Monsieur ELHAGE. est l’auteur de plusieurs livres et articles aux éditions des sciences administratives dans le domaine du commerce électronique, la gestion, la finance. Auteur du livre « La banque électronique », il agit comme conseillé auprès des institutions financières en stratégie. Il est membre de plusieurs associations professionnelles, inscrit à
l’Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec - ADMA, Association
canadienne-française pour l'avancement des sciences – ACFAS, affilié à la
société des actuaires du québec. En 1994, il a été élu président de
African American Association, poste qu'il a occupé jusqu'en juillet
1999. |

Khaled ELHAGE
joined the University of Quebec in the Finance area in 1999 after
receiving his Masters at the University of Paris. At the Institut des Sciences Politiques de Paris, he was taught the core Business Strategy Techniques. He graduated from American University of Paris. |
